Privacy
Brash is built so your work stays on your machine. This page explains what the app and this website do with information, in plain words.

Who we are
Brash is made by Wistfare (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the Brash desktop app and the website at brash.design. Questions about it go to [email protected].
Your designs
Your projects are saved as files on your Mac, in a folder you choose. We do not upload, read or store your designs. There is no Brash account needed to use the editor.
Agents
When you connect an agent such as Claude Code or Codex, it runs on your machine and talks to Brash locally through the Model Context Protocol. What that agent sends to its own provider is governed by your agreement with that provider, not by Brash.
If you use Brash’s built-in agent, your prompt and the context it needs — for example the layers you selected — are sent to the model provider you chose, using the API key you added. Nothing else leaves your Mac. Your key is stored on your machine and is never sent to us.
The app
The preview of Brash does not include analytics or tracking. If we add crash reporting or update checks, they will be described here before they ship, and anything optional will be off unless you turn it on.
This website
The website is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no third-party trackers. It is served through Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Our server keeps standard access logs for a short time to keep the site running and secure.
When you write to us
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply and to help you, and we keep them only as long as that needs.
Paid plans
Brash is free while in preview. When paid plans arrive, payments will be handled by a payment provider, and this page will say which one and what it receives before anything is sold.
Your rights
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, by writing to [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority.
Children
Brash is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and, for meaningful changes, say so on the home page or in the release notes.
